Community screening for pre-kindergarten-aged children will be held on Thursday, March 2, and Friday, March 3. The screening will be facilitated by DeKalb CUSD 428’s Early Learning and Development Center, 1515 S. 4th Street in DeKalb.
 

Screenings are free, and the process includes educational, speech, and language screenings. The screening also provides feedback for the parents on the screening results and will help identify if preschoolers may need extra help before the start of kindergarten.
 

If you have a child or know of someone with a child between the ages of 3 and 5 who would like to be screened for our program, please contact Kany Rojo at 815-754-2361 to arrange a screening appointment. Screenings are by appointment only and will take place at the Early Learning and Development Center.
