DHS Horticulture students have been growing plants since the beginning of January to sell to the public during their annual plant sale. This teaches students about all aspects of the horticulture industry, from production to sales. Not only is this a learning experience for the students, but it helps fund supplies and projects in our horticulture program, FFA chapter, and community.

 
Sale dates are:

May 3, 3-6 pm Family Night with games and activities

May 4, 9 am – noon

Sale location: DHS Greenhouse – 501 Dresser Rd, DeKalb

Sophomore Lexi S. shares, “I really enjoy the plant sale because we have so many people come and support us. We have a lot of options for our customers, and it is a great opportunity to support the school, rather than going to the store to buy your plants”
