DHS Crowbotics Team

Dekalb High School’s Crowbotics team is traveling to Houston, Texas, to compete in the 2024 For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology (FIRST) Robotics Competition World Championship, which will take place from April 17-20.

The FIRST Robotics Competition is one in which, under strict rules, limited time, and resources, teams of students are challenged to raise funds, design a team “brand,” hone their teamwork skills, and build and program industrial-size robots to play a difficult field game against like-minded competitors. Each season ends with an exciting FIRST Championship, where the top 600 teams worldwide compete at the highest caliber of play.

12 DHS students, two coaches, and four additional team mentors will be attending the trip to Houston.

Congratulations, and good luck to the Crowbotics Team!
