Meta’s DeKalb Data Center announced today the recipients of the 2023 Community Action Grant. According to the DeKalb Data Center, “For the first time this year, the DeKalb Data Center is able to participate in the Data Center Community Action Grants program — and it’s through programs like this that Meta is able to provide funding for nonprofits and schools to support the long-term vitality of the community. We fund projects that help put the power of technology to use for community benefit, connect people online or off and improve STEM education.”
DeKalb CUSD 428 is thrilled to be a recipient of this generous funding from Meta’s 2023 Data Center Community Action Grant! These funds will help the District fund a 3-year partnership with Project Lead the Way (PLTW), STEAM kits for K-5, teacher professional development, STEAM class resources, and other needed supplies
Congratulations to all of this year’s recipients as we partner together to support our vibrant, strong, and growing community!
