D428 will offer help with new and returning student registration for the 2025-2026 school year on Tuesday, June 24, from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m., at the D428 Education Center, 901 S. Fourth Street, DeKalb.
District staff will be available throughout the day to offer support including translation assistance in Arabic from 2 - 4 p.m., and in Spanish for the entire day. There will also be age-appropriate supervised children's activities to keep them engaged while parents/guardians complete the registration process.
Access to the Skyward family access account information or access to your email address is required. Please bring your proof of residency documents if you have moved, you are enrolling students in K-5th grade, or for all new students to enroll.
For details on acceptable proof of residency documents accepted please visit the District's Registration page. The deadline for elementary and middle school students to secure placement in their home school was Friday, May 9. Students are placed by registration date. DeKalb High School students must complete registration to be considered for summer school classes and to receive their schedule at the beginning of the school year.
Any student not registered by August 1, 2025, may experience delays in transportation, receiving schedule information or starting on the first day of school.
