The DeKalb CUSD 428 invites district residents to attend one or more of the upcoming Community Conversations events, designed to provide a designated time for community members and students to have more opportunities to meet others in the district, address topics of interest, and ask questions. District representatives and school leaders host the Community Conversations, which take place from 5 – 7 p.m. Locations vary throughout the year.

The Wednesday, January 25 conversation will be held at the Huntly Middle School Cafeteria, 1515 South 4th Street, DeKalb, and will focus on affinity family groups and barriers to registration.

Community Conversation Schedule

• 5-6 p.m. – meal provided and social time
• 6-7 p.m. – topics of conversation; time for Q&A
