Community Conversations

On Wednesday, August 30, from 5 – 7 pm, DeKalb School District invites district residents to attend our first Community Conversations event of the new school year at 1240 Normal Road, DeKalb.

• 5 -6 pm – Dinner from Portillos and social/networking time.
• 6 -7 pm – Discussion time

Community Conversations provide dedicated time for community members, parents, and students to have more opportunities to meet district leaders, address topics of interest, and ask questions. The conversation portion of the August 30 event will focus on the addition of a new elementary school in this neighborhood. Free Dinner will be served while supplies last.
