6/4/08 CRMs Student Announcements:

1. All pom girls who haven’t paid for cookie dough to library after announcements.

2. Any 6th or 7th grade girls who want to play volleyball next year must have a permission slip and current physical before the first practice on August 20. Practices will begin Aug. 20, 21, 22 and 25 from 3-5 p.m. Be sure to attend the volleyball camp August 11-15 at HMS.

3. Students – please take time to check items in the lost and found – after Wednesday, all items will be donated to The Salvation Army. Also, the following smaller lost and found items are in the office – please come look at them if they might be yours: 6 watches (4 black, 1 silver, 1 gold); rose/beads; set black beads; 5 reading glasses; 5 sets of keys; 8 phones; 1 big pin with 5 charms; 4 rings (1 says love); 1 blue bag with lip gloss; 6 necklaces; 1 digital player; butterfly book marker; black earphones.

4. There is information in the counselor’s office for any 8th graders interested in taking a high school health class this summer.

5. Students interested in a work permit need to talk with Mrs. Rodgers in the main office (you must be 14 years old and already have an employer promise of employment letter with hours to be worked and provide the office with your social security number)

6. 8th grade dance – TONIGHT starting at 6:00 p.m. This is not a formal; but please dress nice. Cost is $5 which covers unlimited food and drink (there will be no $1 tickets available); Hollywood theme – find out which 8th graders will win awards!

7. All former students of Mrs. Linda Rohlman are invited to come back to Tyler Elementary School to wish her well on her last day which is Thursday, June 5 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Cake and punch will be served.

8. Neighbors House has dropped off summer tutoring information – please come to the office if interested.

9. DeKalb Library summer reading activities available in the office.

10. SUMMER CAMP INFO AVAILABLE IN THE OFFICE: Boys Basketball Camp in June; Girls Basketball camp in June; Volleyball camp in August; Football camp in July; Soccer Camp in June; Wrestling Camp in June; Baseball camp end of May; Huskie Track Club through July; NIU Huskie Football Camp in June; and Northern Rehab Speed Camp end of June-end of July.
