Fall Fundraiser Pickup will be over conference weekend, November 7-8 from 9 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
PTA Meeting - November 13 - There will be a performance of Littlejohn's Harambee Drum Club prior to the meeting. The meeting should start at approximately 7:15 when the performance is over. Please come out to listen, then stay for the meeting. They are terrific!
RIF- November 21 - We are thankful for books! Reading Is Fundamental is a program sponsored at Littlejohn by PTA. Every child will receive a free book to bring home.
Scholastic Holiday Book Fair - December 8-12 Books make great holiday gifts! Exact times TBA. If you would like to volunteer at the Book Fair, please contact Jennifer Freeman.
Fundraising
The money PTA raises throughout the year allows it to provide resources to assist our teachers and staff in educating our children and provide cultural experiences which help enrich our children’s lives. This includes; books for the library, enrichment materials in the classroom, classroom supplies, technology, field trips, special assemblies, and events for the entire family.
Fundraising Philosophy: The PTA’s position is to conduct fundraisers which can be done by parents and/or within a family and friends network. The PTA does NOT advocate whatsoever door to door sales or any type of solicitation to strangers. It is a reality that fundraising is necessary for our PTA to accomplish so many wonderful things, but not at the expense of the safety and well being of our children.
 Market Day is a community service and a joint fundraiser for Littlejohn Elementary School. Once a month order forms are sent home with students. You can also place an order online at the Market Day website. If you are a member of the community and would like an order form mailed to you each month, please contact the school office with your name and address. Market Day pick up is Saturday, 10:30-11:30 at Littlejohn School. Thanks for your participation!
