Academic Boosters

Agenda - Providing hot breakfast on PSAE testing day; Planning for 2nd Annual Academic Letter Night.

The Academic Boosters meet the 2nd Tuesday of every other month at 6:30 p.m. in the Media Center. This group of parents works to support the academic experience at DeKalb High School. All are welcome to attend.

Who
we
are:		 We are parents who share in a common commitment toward keeping our high school students safe from illegal drugs, alcohol and unchaperoned parties.

What
we
do:		 -Publish a booklet each year with parent and student names, addresses, phone numbers and parent e-mail addresses for easy contact
-Post information on this website for parent reference
-Establish an online interface in Fall, 2001 for bulletins, additional information
When
we
meet:		 We meet every month during the Building Leadership Team meetings at the high school (Last Tuesday of each month) to update our network progress. All parents are invited to attend and give input to the process.
