DeKalb Music Boosters' Fund Raising Activities

Serving Music Performance Programs Through Advocacy, Service & Fund Raising

The DeKalb Music Boosters has a variety of fund raising activities that support the needs of band, choir, and orchestra.   The time commitment varies with the specific fund raising activity and “many hands make light work” so help where you can.  To help out, check out the activities below and contact the coordinator of the fund raising activity that sounds interesting to you or call someone on that volunteer list.

All the money raised helps our music performance programs with specific music needs identified by the music performance director or supports a performance trip.  We have contributed over  $50,000 for instruments, equipment, uniforms, SmartMusic programs, computers, buses for trips, concert halls, accompanists and much more.

Annual Events Schedule
 

*Fund raising events sponsored by the performance group means the money goes directly into the band, choir or orchestra account.  Music Boosters’ parents assist with these events as determined by the performance director.

Corn Fest Craft Fair
A major yearly fundraiser for Music Boosters is the Craft Fair at DeKalb Corn Fest. Many months of planning go into the organization and co-ordination of hosting over 80 vendors at Clinton Rosette Middle School.
