02/18/2008 - DIstrict 428 To Host 1st Annual Family Wellness Fair - Thursday, February 21, 2008
More than twenty exhibitors will be on hand this week at the 1st Annual DeKalb School District 428 Family Wellness Fair. The event will take place at DeKalb High School, 1515 S. 4th St. DeKalb, IL on Thursday, February 21, 2008 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Participants are asked to enter the front main doors. This is a community event for all ages.
“The Family Wellness Fair is designed to help families make informed food and activity choices that will lead to healthier lifestyles,” according to Bill McGuire, Family Wellness Committee chairperson. In addition to information and live performances, attendees will be able to take part in activities, purchase food items, in addition to some free samples.
Exhibitors expected at the event include: Peak Performance, Northern Illinois Rehab, 4H University of Illinois Extension, Jazzercise, Aramark, Jessica Lyons (Dynamic Dance Studio), Ben Gordon Center, DeKalb Park District, Kishwaukee YMCA, Youth Service Bureau, Hauser-Ross, and many more.
