Mission Statement
The mission of Cortland Elementary School, in partnership with parents and the entire community, is to educate each student to his/her fullest potential by encouraging, inspiring, and providing opportunities to: strive for and achieve academic success; develop and exhibit critical and independent thinking skills; gather and utilize strategies to enhance life long learning; display appropriate character development; facilitate social and emotional growth; participate in and appreciate the fine arts; improve physical development; and be a contributing, productive member of our community.
