A letter from Principal Lyle:
Dear Cortland Families,
We wanted to thank you for attending your student’s Fall Conference. We had a wonderful turn out!
We wanted to share that the new school is underway. The walls are being built as I write. The students are currently voting on three playground options over the next week.
Please continue to check our website for updates on construction and school events.
Reminders:
No School November 26-November 28 th.
- If your child takes a bus to bowling on Wednesdays, please be sure to send a note if they aren’t able to go.
- Remember, it takes 24-36 hours for your lunch money to register in your accounts.
- It is getting colder, please send your child to school with a coat, hat and gloves. When the snow begins to arrive they must have boots and snow pants to play in the snow.

The referendum in 2008 is the first phase of a ten year Master Facilities plan. A second phase that will bring program and facility equity to the remaining district schools will likely be proposed around 2012.
