The PTA (Parent Teacher Association) is an organization in your child's school which concerns itself with the welfare of children. By working together at our Chesebro PTA, we will bring a closer relationship between home, school, parents and teachers. By joining the PTA you will help make decisions that directly affect your child and learn more about your child's school. We need YOU!!

The PTA goals for this year include:

  • To develop goals and action plan with parent input.
  • Create monthly plan and procedures for meetings.
  • Initiate District-wide PTA Board Meeting
  • Improve communication between PTA and Chesebro Staff.
  • Improve PTA communication to Parents.
  • Increase PTA parent membership and involvement.
  • Increase participation at PTA meetings.
  • Develop committees and share tasks.
  • Identify fundraising goals.
  • Increase number of PTA family events.
