FRIDAY, DECEMBER 5 TH: FAMILY READING NIGHT 6PM TO 7:30PM Book Fair will be open 5PM to 8PM
ALTERNATE TRANSPORTATION: For the safety of all students it is imperative that you notify the school in writing regarding alternate transportation. The advance notice will allow us to accommodate your needs and better ensure the safety of your child. Phone calls requesting a change in transportation should only be made in case of emergency. Alternate transportation does not include riding a different bus and or getting off at a different stop.
ABSENCES: Remember if your child is going to be absent to please call the school at 754-9936 to report their absence.
SEVERE WEATHER: Reminder: In the event of severe weather listen to WLBK AT 1360 AM or B95 at 94.9 for any possible closing of DeKalb School District Schools. Closings will also be on the District 428 website (dist428.org) and calls will be placed via our Blackboard Connect Parent Notification System. For this reason, it is important that any changes in contact phone numbers or email addresses be updated in Family Access. Please contact the school office if you need assistance with username and password.
OUTSIDE RECESS: Students will be going outside every day for recess unless it is raining or the temperature with the wind chill is below zero. We ask that you help in seeing that your child is dressed appropriately for the weather.
