05/29/2008 - Huntley Students Named Student Leaders
The Illinois Principal Association, Kishwaukee Region, announced its Student Leaders for 2008 at a Breakfast in Rockford on Thursday May 8, 2008 at the Clock Tower Resort in Rockford, Illinois. The Student Leadership breakfast recognizes tomorrow’s leaders today. Each school in the Kishwaukee Region of the Illinois Principal Association nominates one female and one male student. Each student leader received a certificate and a copy of Sean Covey’s book The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens.
Huntley Middle School students were chosen by the 8th grade teachers from the following criteria: Student Leadership; Positive School/Community Role Model; Dependability; Accountability; and Trustworthiness. The 2008 Huntley Middle School Student Leaders are: Brittany Kowalski and Jeremy Karasewski.
