05/13/08 - Wright Elementary Plans Dedication in Memory of Teacher

Wright Elementary School will dedicate a sitting bench in memory of Marian Beguin on Friday, May 16, 2008 at 2:30 p.m. at the school located just east of Malta. Beguin, a beloved kindergarten teacher in the district for many years, was killed in automobile accident this past fall. The dedication ceremony will include songs by Wright Elementary students and other activities. The ceremony will be followed by refreshments at the school. Residents of the district, particularly former students and colleagues, are invited to attend.
